Day 1: We boarded the Norwegian Jade in Tampa (once we all discovered that it was terminal 2, not terminal 3). We spent the day trying to remember whether we were forward, aft or mid as we killed time exploring the ship waiting for our cabins to be ready. Once in our cabins, most of us found our luggage waiting there for us. We freshened up and headed to Spinnaker Lounge for packet pick up, and our kick-off party!
Day 2: We started bright an early with roundtables (“speed dating”) in Alizar restaurant. Our Memory Makers got to meet with each supplier representative in a small group for 20 minute sessions. It was a great way to get to know our suppliers and ask specific questions. By the time we wrapped up, we were docked and got to disembark and explore Key West.
Our evening ended with a hibachi dinner at Teppanyaki for invited Memory Makers and suppliers.
Day 3: Our day started back in Spinnaker Lounge with our Veteran Memory Maker Q&A. Our panel of eight Memory Makers talked about how they became successful and answered questions from their colleagues. We ended this session with our team photo!
We were slightly disappointed to find out that we could not tender to Great Stirrup Cay due to weather but we made the most of another day at sea!
Day 4: We took over the entire Stardust Theater for our supplier Main Stage presentations! We heard from our supplier partners who were onboard with us as well as some who joined us by video.
We were so grateful to Matthew Gouthro, our NCL regional sales manager, and host of our conference, for inviting several of the ship’s officers to speak to us. It was such a nice gesture for them to take time from their busy schedule to come speak to our team.
Day four ended with our closing cocktail party and awards in Spinnaker Lounge. Please see the list of award winners below and be sure to congratulate your colleagues who received awards!
We ended our conference with an old friend announcing the destination of our 2025 Sales Conference!
